I've been a happy hooker since I was in grammar school. That is to say, I love to crochet. I find it less stressful than knitting and easier to do in a spontaneous way. I remember making a shell stitch scarf when I was in 5th or 6th grade. Now many scarves, afghans, toys and booties later, I'm making a blog to share my love for crochet with you. Multicolored Crochet Sweater
I set my crocheted sweater aside to work on a knitted vest. But now it's time to get it out today and work on it before I forget how it goes. I love making multicolored things. It's like painting with yarn and gives me great joy. I think solid drab colored items sell better, but I don't enjoy making those. It's a colorful world and I'm a magpie.

A Little of This, a Little of That
I'm going through a weird creative phase where I want to start new things every day. I enjoy the process, but I don't finish anything. So I started 3 amigurumi mice, and I worked on a squid I started ages ago, and as fast as I make things I think of 3 or 4 things I want to make. I just had an idea for a crochet 'cocoon' necklace. It will have an interesting texture. And I'm still working on my multicolored flower scarf. Then just this morning I realized St. Patrick's Day is just around the corner and I only have one green thing in my Etsy shop. I really need to get more into my shop.
